Oak roll top desk
This Oak roll top desk had a couple of repairs and was stripped to raw wood and sealed with a matt finish to give a slightly more modern look.

Refurbished desk
This desk needed to be cleaned up gently to get rid of years of oils, waxes and dust but special care had to be taken to preserve the detail that was painted on.

This came from a family farm in the Eastern Cape and travelling took its toll. After some serious intervention this stately roll top has been brought back to life. Still missing locks and escutcheons but I'm sure it will turn up after a good rummage around.
