Privacy policy

This website is a static brochure site for Giupetto and Son Restorers, a furniture restoration workshop in Strand, South Africa. This policy explains what personal information the site and we handle, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

The site has no user accounts, no comments and no forms, and stores nothing you type. When you contact us — by phone, WhatsApp or email — we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, contact details, photos of the piece, and your address if we arrange collection or delivery.

How we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, quote, and do the work. We don't sell or share your details with anyone, and we don't send marketing messages.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and collects usage data in aggregate — pages visited, browser type, approximate location. You can block cookies in your browser without losing any functionality.

Photographs of your furniture

We photograph pieces before and after restoration for our records, and sometimes publish them in our portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather your piece stays private, just say so — we'll happily keep it out.
